Hanoi.

The 1000 year old capital of Vietnam and a very pretty city. I have heard it described as an organic city and I tend to agree. Many of the city streets are lined with beautiful old trees and many lakes that dot the city — making it a very pretty place to wander through.

At the moment much of Hanoi’s old quarter and French quarter are still beautiful places to wander in the leafy shade.
